Keisuke Tonkotsu King @ Orchid Hotel

You queue because you want to eat.

Choices for you Sir/ Ms?
Be prepared to wait a while for your seats.
And don't come in a group.
You'd be waiting for a long time yet.

No time for chitter chatter.
Just a lot of mouth action and slurps to be heard.
And cracking sounds...

An order of the works.
The cracking of egg shells.
Gotta love the lower cholestrol option white shelled eggs.
With japanese mayonnaise in a squeeze bottle.

While you wait for that perfectly semi runny yolked egg.
Pound away at the toasted black and white sesame seeds.
Mmm.
Fragrance.

Then there's more.
Crisp crunch of
Nori seaweed.
Fish it out before it soaks through.
Salty.
And so addictive.
Even if it means getting some green on my teeth.

Or go simple.
Red spicy.
With charsiew and black fungus.

Those white cubes of fat?
They simply slide down your throat.
Smooth.
Throw caution to the wind.
And this was my attempt at responsiblity to check off the less oil option. :)

And baby's home!
Poor love with a stomach virus.
Glad you're all better now.
He's teething.
Which means- Hello Elmo
*Arhm!

And the silliest pup.
Always wanting attention.
Then sneakily pretending to be quiet under the bed, hoping no one would notice.
Till you spot a paw or a furry tail.
Busted.

And just over the weekend,
he ran out of the house.
Hungry and lonely,
I hope you found some food and a place for shelter.
Oh come home soon. :(
